On a routine hike in the Santa Monica Mountains, I stumbled upon a site of beautiful teepees. At first impression the structure was very well constructed, almost looking like Native craftsmanship. Looking around, but seeing nobody around I approached the 6-foot high structure. It looks like the sides of the teepee were constructed with bamboo and tied together. Straw was then placed over the teepee completing the look.
A second teepee which has just began construction was found as well. The beginning of another teepee is indicated by the red box.
Will not be releasing details of the hike, to keep the artist’s work hidden without disturbing the surrounding areas. Found somewhere around the Augora Hills area. Here are more detailed image of the teepee. Just explore.
