Introduction: The Tampa-Wilber Park is a clean and nicely kept trail in the Porter Ranch Hills. This is not your typical park, but think of it as a hiking trail along the mountain with some beautiful vistas. The area here is both friendly and convenient to those who are looking for a nice jog or trail walk during the day. It may be too hot to hike this trail during the midday, so please be mindful of the heat and use the morning freshness to enjoy a stroll here.
This is not your most challenging hike, but think of this location as a nice place to walk and enjoy the atmosphere of the valley. The whole hike is lined with these nicely made wood rails that follow the trail the whole way. This definitely adds to the ambiance of the trail, and makes for some great photos.
If you’re looking for a great cardio experience and enjoy trail walking, take the time to visit this place. Many of the locals come here often in order to get a morning run and a good cardio exercise.
There’s not an amazing pot of gold and the end of this trail, but it makes for a pleasant walk with a partner. When you get to the top, enjoy the steady views and layers of homes you will see, that make this trail worthwhile.
